U.S. President Trump Expresses Support for Japanese Election Candidate

During a regular press conference on February 6, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian addressed recent comments made by U.S. President Donald Trump on social media, where he expressed full support for Japanese election candidate Sanae Takaichi. According to Jin10, Lin Jian stated that the election is an internal matter for Japan and declined to comment further.
