Deshijia Expands Operations with Acquisition of Dutch Medical Platform

Deshijia, which suspended trading on Monday, announced its acquisition of FYEO Europe B.V., a Dutch private refractive surgery platform, for a total price of nearly 132 million euros or 1.115 billion Hong Kong dollars. According to Ming Pao, the acquisition involves purchasing shares from private equity firm Commited Capital, three Dutch foundations, and a private company. This strategic move allows Deshijia to enter the refractive surgery sector with an established operator and expand its geographical presence beyond Germany, Denmark, the UK, and Hong Kong to include the Netherlands.
