European stock markets closed with significant losses as the conflict in the Middle East continues. According to RTHK, Germany's DAX index fell by 389 points, or 1.6%, to 23,815 points. France's CAC index decreased by 121 points, approximately 1.5%, ending at 8,045 points. Meanwhile, the UK's FTSE 100 index dropped 153 points, about 1.5%, closing at 10,413 points.
