AlphaTON Capital Acquires Majority Stake in GAMEE for Up to $11 Million

AlphaTON Capital, a Nasdaq-listed company, has finalized an agreement to acquire a 60% stake in the gaming platform GAMEE for up to $11 million. According to PANews, the deal includes a performance-based additional payment over two years. GAMEE, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Animoca Brands, is valued at $18 million in this transaction. Under the terms of the acquisition, AlphaTON Capital will assume daily operational management of GAMEE and establish a strategic alliance with Animoca Brands. Additionally, Animoca Brands is prohibited from acquiring a controlling interest in AlphaTON Capital for two years.
