China Maintains Loan Prime Rates Unchanged for 10th Consecutive Month

China has decided to keep its one-year Loan Prime Rate (LPR) steady at 3.0%, marking the 10th consecutive month without a change in its benchmark lending rates. According to NS3.AI, the People's Bank of China also maintained the five-year LPR at 3.5%. The one-year rate is primarily used as a guide for most corporate and household loans, whereas the five-year rate serves as a reference for mortgages.
