Steve, a representative from PantherTrade, stated that the company will not launch a standalone app in the short term, as PantherTrade serves as a foundational infrastructure for business-to-business operations rather than a traditional exchange product. It is designed to be a 'super account' gateway for all assets. Regarding the role of crypto within Futu's overall strategy, Steve mentioned that while detailed business plans are made quarterly, he prefers to focus on the broader potential and the ability to exceed targets rather than specific numerical forecasts. He believes that globally, U.S. stocks are currently the most popular and high-quality assets, but crypto assets have the potential to rival or even surpass them in the future. Steve emphasized that under regulatory compliance, the trading volume of crypto at Futu and within the industry could potentially match or exceed that of U.S. stocks, highlighting significant growth potential.
