In the past 24 hours, the cryptocurrency market has seen substantial liquidations amounting to $72.1 million, according to ChainCatcher. Data from Coinglass reveals that long positions accounted for $36.95 million of the liquidations, while short positions totaled $35.15 million. Bitcoin positions were notably affected, with long liquidations reaching $8.39 million and short liquidations at $8.04 million. Ethereum also experienced significant liquidations, with $6.83 million in long positions and $5.45 million in short positions being liquidated.
