According to Odaily, these senators are hesitant to advance his nomination while current Chair Jerome Powell remains under investigation. New York Fed President and Vice Chair of the Federal Reserve's policy committee, John Williams, stated that this uncertainty does not pose an issue for the Federal Reserve. The Federal Open Market Committee voted earlier this year to have Powell continue as the policy committee chair, allowing him to maintain the position until Warsh's confirmation. Williams emphasized that the committee is focused on its work, and there are no concerns about continuity.
