Senator Warren Questions SEC's Enforcement Decline

Senator Elizabeth Warren has raised concerns about the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) under the leadership of Chair Paul Atkins. According to NS3.AI, Warren accused Atkins of possibly providing misleading information to Congress following the release of SEC data indicating only 456 new enforcement actions last year. Of these, 200 were initiated during the previous Biden administration.
