Luke Dashjr’s Bitcoin hard fork went live on September 1 and drew little hashrate, while Blockstream CEO Adam Back dismissed it with a seven-word post. According to BeInCrypto, Dashjr’s BIP-110 proposal swaps Bitcoin’s mining algorithm to BLAKE2b, but miners and exchanges largely ignored the split, and BTC traded near $76,942, down roughly 1.33% in 24 hours. No major exchange has listed the coin, and a small beta platform opened deposits under BTCB2.
