According to PANews, a report by New World Wealth and Henley & Partners reveals that the number of global crypto millionaires has surged by 95% over the past year, driven by the rise of Bitcoin exchange-traded funds and other crypto assets. Currently, 172,300 individuals worldwide hold over $1 million in crypto assets, up from 88,200 last year. The number of pure Bitcoin millionaires has more than doubled to 85,400.
Crypto wealth has climbed to the top of the financial ladder. The report indicates that there are now 325 crypto multi-millionaires, defined as those holding $100 million or more in crypto assets, and 28 crypto billionaires. Among the six new crypto billionaires created in the past year, five attribute their newfound wealth to Bitcoin. Andrew Amoils, Head of Research at New World Wealth, stated, 'This highlights Bitcoin's dominance in attracting long-term investors who purchase large amounts of assets.'
