Taiwan Prepares Virtual Asset Legislation For Mid-Year Submission

According to PANews, on January 9, Peng Jinlong, the head of Taiwan's financial regulatory authority, announced a cautious yet supportive approach towards the virtual asset market. He revealed that a draft of the specialized legislation for virtual assets has been completed and is set to enter the public hearing process. The draft is expected to be submitted to Taiwan's administrative body by June 30.
