T3 Financial Crime Unit Aids in Dismantling European Crime Syndicate

According to Odaily, Spanish authorities have announced the successful dismantling of a European transnational financial crime syndicate with the assistance of the T3 Financial Crime Unit, which includes Tron, Tether, and TRM Labs. The Spanish Civil Guard reported that the syndicate operated across multiple European jurisdictions, providing money laundering services from cash to cryptocurrency for criminal enterprises. T3 has frozen $26.4 million in this operation, marking the largest coordinated freeze since its inception last year, with a total of $126 million frozen to date. Tether has collaborated with over 220 law enforcement agencies, freezing more than 2,400 addresses involving nearly 2 billion USDT.
