Tornado Cash Developer Released Under House Arrest

According to PANews, Alexey Pertsev, one of the developers of Tornado Cash, has been temporarily released after spending nine months in a Dutch prison. Despite his release, Pertsev still faces a potential sentence of 64 months. The court has placed him under house arrest and electronic monitoring until his trial date. Pertsev expressed his gratitude on the X platform, stating, "Freedom is priceless, and my house arrest was only possible through the efforts of my lawyers, funded by your donations. My struggle is not over, and I still need your support for ultimate victory and confidence." Previously, it was reported that Pertsev was granted conditional release to pursue an appeal.
