Recent data shows that the U.S. Consumer Price Index (CPI) for February recorded an unadjusted annual rate of 2.8%, marking the lowest level since November of the previous year. Additionally, the seasonally adjusted monthly CPI for February was 0.2%, the lowest since October of the prior year.
Furthermore, the unadjusted core CPI annual rate for February stood at 3.1%, the lowest since April 2021. The seasonally adjusted core CPI monthly rate was also 0.2%, reaching its lowest point since December of the previous year.
