Italian Bank Banca Sella Explores Digital Asset Custody Services

According to PANews, Italian banking group Banca Sella Holding SpA is conducting an internal pilot project to test custody services for digital assets, including stablecoins. Sources familiar with the matter revealed that Sella is collaborating with technology provider Fireblocks for this initiative. Currently, the bank allows only a limited number of professional employees to hold digital assets internally, with potential plans to extend this service to clients in the future.
