U.S. Lawmakers Urge SEC to Support Executive Order on Alternative Investments

According to PANews, U.S. House Financial Services Committee Chairman French Hill and senior lawmaker Maxine Waters have written to SEC Chairman, expressing support for U.S. President Donald Trump's Executive Order 14330, signed on August 7. The order mandates collaboration between the Department of Labor and the SEC to evaluate and amend regulations, facilitating the inclusion of Bitcoin and other alternative assets in 401(k) retirement savings plans. The letter also references the H.R. 3394 bill, which addresses investor qualification criteria.
