CME Reports Record Cryptocurrency Futures and Options Trading Volume in Q3

According to Foresight News, the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) reported that its cryptocurrency futures and options trading volume surpassed $900 billion in the third quarter, marking a historic high. The average daily open interest (ADOI) for these products also reached a new peak of $31.3 billion during the quarter, with nominal open interest (OI) hitting a record $39 billion on September 18. Additionally, the number of large open interest holders (LOIH) recorded for the week of September 16 was 1,014.
