According to PANews, enterprise software company ClickUp, valued at $4 billion, has announced the acquisition of AI programming startup Codegen. This transaction marks the latest development in the ongoing merger and acquisition trend within the AI programming sector this year. Earlier this summer, Google's acquisitions of Windsurf and Cognition garnered significant attention. Additionally, this month saw Anthropic acquiring development tools startup Bun, while Cursor purchased code review startup Graphite.
