About BETH

Beacon ETH is the token of Beacon Chain. Beacon Chain will introduce proof-of-stake to Ethereum. This is a new way for you to help keep Ethereum secure. Think of it like a public good that will make Ethereum healthier and earn you more ETH in the process. In practice, it will involve you staking ETH in order to activate validator software. As a validator you'll process transactions and create new blocks in the chain.Staking and becoming a validator is easier than mining (how the network is currently secured). And it's hoped this will help make Ethereum more secure in the long run. The more people that participate in the network, the more decentralized and safe from attack it will become.

Binance Earn has completed the Starknet (STRK) token distribution for eligible Binance Ethereum (Eth) Staking users. As confirmed through an announcement on its official site, the distribution allows selected users to obtain additional value as a part of their cryptocurrency investment on Binance. Selected participants can verify the receipt of their distributed STRK tokens by accessing their accounts through the Binance Airdrop Portal. The distribution targeted users who held BEther (BETH) — Binance's native ETH staking token — in their Binance Spot and Funding wallets by the snapshot time of the qualifying round, which was documented on 2022-09-15 at 23:59 (UTC). Starknet (STRK) tokens were distributed to chosen users based on a conversion ratio of 1 BETH to 10.26375 STRK. As part of the distribution plan, the Starknet Foundation granted Binance a total sum of 10,178,280 Starknet (STRK) tokens.

Binance took a snapshot of users’ total BETH balances in spot and funding accounts at 07:59 on September 16, 2022 (Eastern Eighth District time). Only users in eligible areas who hold BETH in their Binance spot and funding accounts at 07:59 on September 16, 2022 (Eastern Eighth District Time) can receive the Starknet (STRK) token distribution; Starknet ( STRK) tokens have been distributed to eligible users at the ratio of 1 BETH = 10.26375 STRK. Binance received a total of 10,178,280 Starknet (STRK) tokens from the Starknet Foundation to complete the distribution plan.

바이낸스가 방금 전 공식 사이트를 통해 플랫폼 내 ETH 스테이킹 서비스 사용자를 대상으로 STRK 토큰 배포를 지원한다고 공지했다. 대상자는 한국시간 기준 2022년 9월 16일 8시 59분 기준 바이낸스 언 프로그램을 통해 ETH를 스테이킹, BETH를 보유하고 있는 사용자다. 적격 사용자에게는 한국시간 기준 2월 20일 21시부터 30일 이내 STRK 토큰이 배포되며, BETH 당 할당 비율은 별도 공지될 예정이다. 또 바이낸스는 "STRK 배포를 지원한다고 해서 상장이 보장되는 것은 아니다"라고 덧붙였다.
