Coinbase Chief Legal Officer paulgrewal.eth posted on the X platform that today the court has decided that the case between Coinbase and the SEC will continue to advance compensation, but dismissed the claim against Coinbase Wallet. Coinbase is currently preparing for this and looks forward to learning more about the SEC’s internal views and discussions on cryptocurrency regulation. Coinbase’s previous motions have always been rejected, but regulatory clarity is Coinbase’s ultimate goal. Today’s court decision will allow Coinbase to continue to move forward on this path and remain confident in its own legal arguments.
