OpenAI announced the launch of its new AI platform, Frontier, on Thursday, helping enterprises build, deploy, and manage AI agents. OpenAI stated that Frontier works in conjunction with its previously released AI agent building tools, making it easier for enterprises to integrate the diverse data sources needed for AI agents to perform tasks. These agents will be able to process information from different sources and complete tasks including file processing and code execution. Figgi Simo, CEO of OpenAI's Applications business, said, "By the end of this year, most of the digital work in leading enterprises will be directed by humans and executed by batches of intelligent agents. This has already become a reality in programming and will soon expand to many more fields." OpenAI did not disclose pricing for Frontier, and the platform is currently only available to a select group of customers. (Jinshi)
