Bitcoin Investor Supports Libertarian Community Development in Nevis

Bitcoin investor Olivier Janssens is assisting Saint Kitts and Nevis in drafting the Special Sustainable Development Zone Authorization Act (SSZAA) to support the establishment of a libertarian community named Destiny on Nevis Island. According to Foresight News, the project plans to acquire 2,400 acres of land, utilize cryptocurrency as the daily currency, and create an independent dispute resolution mechanism. Destiny is part of the 'network state' movement, aiming to establish territories with a stronger libertarian focus through technology and crypto wealth. However, the local bar association has raised concerns about the law, suggesting it may grant administrative power to developers, posing a risk of creating a 'state within a state.' Nevis is located in the northern part of the Lesser Antilles in the Caribbean, forming the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis along with Saint Kitts Island.
