Bitwise Chief Investment Officer Matt Hougan stated on the ETF Edge program that Bitcoin's recent decline was not caused by a single factor, with the four-year cycle being a major downward catalyst. Hougan pointed out that investors have recently favored assets such as gold and AI stocks over cryptocurrencies. Furthermore, the market has been affected by quantum risks and concerns about Kevin Warsh. Although Bitcoin's price briefly fell below $61,000, reaching a near 16-month low, Hougan believes that Bitcoin's financialization process has not changed its scarcity. Bitwise currently manages over $15 billion in assets, and its Bitwise Solana Staking ETF has fallen by approximately 57% since its launch last October.
