Cobo co-founder and CEO Shenyu recently commented on social media about the transformative impact of AI Agents on corporate structures. According to Odaily, Shenyu emphasized that the disruption will not target individual skills but rather the management systems centered around standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Shenyu highlighted that traditional companies rely on SOPs to standardize human processes. However, integrating AI with autonomous planning capabilities into existing workflows might lead to inefficiencies. In the future, companies may restructure processes around 'intent and boundaries,' with humans setting goals and rules, AI optimizing execution, and humans overseeing and making decisions.
As AI involvement increases, Shenyu believes departmental barriers and middle management roles may diminish, potentially leading to more efficient dynamic collaboration models within organizations.
