Japan's Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, Akira Amari, urged the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to ensure a stable oil supply despite disruptions caused by Iranian attacks. According to Jin10, Amari made this appeal during a meeting in Tokyo with UAE officials, including Sultan Al Jaber, CEO of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company. As a major oil supplier to Japan, the UAE is expected to play a leading role in stabilizing the oil market. Al Jaber affirmed the UAE's commitment to its strategic partnership with Japan and its role in maintaining market stability. However, he cautioned that if the Strait of Hormuz, a critical oil transit chokepoint, were compromised, the UAE's ability to act would be limited.
