René Redzepi, renowned for leading the 'New Nordic Cuisine' movement, is facing renewed scrutiny over allegations of bullying at his former Michelin three-star restaurant, Noma, which has since transformed into a culinary laboratory. According to Ming Pao, The New York Times reported last Saturday that several former employees of Noma accused Redzepi of engaging in violent bullying, including physical assault and humiliation, causing emotional and physical distress to staff over the years. In response to the report, Redzepi issued a statement last Friday acknowledging the harm his past behavior had caused to colleagues. He stated that he has been working to change and is undergoing therapy to manage his temper.
