North Korea Launches Multiple Missiles into Nearby Waters

North Korea has reportedly launched ten ballistic missiles into the waters near the East Sea, according to South Korean military sources. Earlier reports from South Korea indicated that North Korea had fired an unidentified flying object, which the Japanese government suggested might be a ballistic missile. According to RTHK, Japan's Maritime Self-Defense Force noted that the missile might have fallen into the sea. Additionally, Japan Broadcasting Corporation reported that the missiles appeared to have landed outside Japan's economic zone.
