Samsung Electronics is gradually ceasing sales of its Galaxy Z TriFold smartphone, approximately three months after its launch. According to Jin10, the $2,899 device was primarily positioned as a technological showcase rather than a core product in Samsung's smartphone lineup. A Samsung spokesperson stated that the company will first halt sales in its home market of South Korea, followed by the cessation of related operations in the United States once inventory is depleted. This move was anticipated, as earlier this month, Samsung's website stopped providing restock information for the innovative foldable device, which features dual hinges and can unfold into a 10-inch tablet. The webpage now simply indicates that the TriFold is "sold out."
