Previously, according to the Wall Street Journal, prediction market platform Kalshi and Polymarket were reportedly in talks with potential investors for new funding rounds, both targeting valuations of approximately $20 billion. Kalshi recently completed a new funding round of over $1 billion, reaching a valuation of $22 billion, more than double its $11 billion valuation in its previous funding round last December. Sources familiar with the matter revealed that this round was led by Coatue Management, and Kalshi currently has annualized revenue of $1.5 billion.
