According to a report from the Hong Kong Police Force, a gold robbery occurred at Peninsula Plaza on Chung On Street, Hung Hom, Hong Kong on March 20, involving 73 gold bars, each weighing 1 kilogram, with a value of approximately HK$100 million. Police quickly launched an investigation after receiving the report, arresting five men and women involved and successfully recovering the stolen 73 kilograms of gold bars. The incident occurred at approximately 2:45 pm on the 20th. A man, posing as a buyer, was conducting a gold transaction with staff at a gold shop in an office building on Chung On Street, Hung Hom. Suddenly, two men and a woman burst into the office, claiming that the company's manager owed a huge debt. They, along with the male buyer, took advantage of the chaos to stuff the 73 gold bars, weighing a total of approximately 73 kilograms, into a suitcase. (Southern Daily)
