Japan's Financial Services Agency (FSA) has issued warning letters to KuCoin, NeonFX, theoption, and GTCFX, stating that they are providing over-the-counter (OTC) derivatives trading services to Japanese residents via the internet without registration. The FSA stated that these companies received the relevant notification in March, with KuCoin listed as a platform offering services to Japanese users. Previously, Japanese regulators issued similar warnings to exchanges such as KuCoin and Bybit in November 2024, and in February 2025, requested Apple and Google to suspend downloads of the KuCoin app. (Cointelegraph)
