Qatar has declined to act as a key mediator in potential ceasefire talks between the United States and Iran, complicating efforts to find a diplomatic resolution. According to BlockBeats, officials and mediators familiar with the situation revealed that Qatar informed U.S. officials last week of its decision not to play a leading role in the mediation process. Iran has formally informed mediators that it is unwilling to meet with U.S. officials in Islamabad in the coming days, deeming the American demands unacceptable.
