On April 9, Iranian officials released a nautical chart of the Strait of Hormuz, marking the area under the Separate Navigation System as a danger zone in the Farsi language. Iranian officials stated that any oil tankers entering the waterway without permission will be destroyed. Currently, Iran is demanding high cryptocurrency fees from shipping companies, at a rate of $1 per barrel of crude oil. Tankers must declare their cargo via email, and the fee is verified by Iran's Supreme National Security Council before payment is made in Bitcoin, in an attempt to circumvent sanctions. Furthermore, Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf posted on the X platform that the United States has violated the ceasefire agreement three times, and continuing negotiations is unreasonable. Currently, affected by this situation, West Texas Intermediate crude oil prices rose 3.1% to $97.32, and Brent North Sea Crude oil prices rose 3.3% to $97.87.
