CoW DAO Recovers Domain After Phishing Attack

CoW DAO reported that on April 14, an attacker used forged documents to seize control of the cow.fi domain, deploying a phishing site. According to NS3.AI, the attack initially involved a wallet drainer and subsequently employed fake wallet pop-ups to extract seed phrases and passwords from users. CoW DAO has since regained control of the domain, ensuring that cow.finance remained operational throughout the incident. The project is now in the process of gradually transitioning users back to cow.fi.
