Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Bahram Qassemi, expressed skepticism about the possibility of swiftly reaching an agreement in negotiations with the United States. According to Odaily, Qassemi highlighted the deep mistrust and suspicion Iran has harbored towards U.S. actions since the victory of the Iranian Islamic Revolution 47 years ago.
He emphasized that expecting a quick resolution from the talks is unrealistic, describing the situation as an 'extremely bloody war.' Qassemi pointed to the severe actions of the United States and Israel, citing conflicts in Gaza and Lebanon over the past two and a half years as evidence.
Qassemi stated, 'In such circumstances, regardless of who the mediator is, expecting an agreement in a short time frame is unrealistic.'
