NEAR Core has released version 1.31.1, which fixes bugs in previous block result root verification and total supply verification. More than 2/3 of mainnet block validators have deployed the same patch from this release prior to its release, protecting the mainnet from attacks related to this vulnerability. NEAR recommends that all node operators who have not directly patched their nodes do so immediately. Previously, on February 11, a vulnerability involving block result root verification was discovered in NEAR. As a precautionary measure, Rainbow Bridge was suspended. After the team fixed it, Rainbow Bridge was fully restored on February 13, and new tokens can be issued. Cross-chain, no loss of funds.
