According to Fortune magazine, Toku, an encrypted salary compliance company, completed the first round of financing of US$20 million. Investors include Blockchain Capital, GMJP, OrangeDAO, Reverie, Quantstamp and Next Web Capital, as well as Protocol Labs founders Juan Benet and Cameron and Tyler Angel investors such as Winklevoss. Toku aims to help encryption companies deal with tax laws related to Token-related salary distribution. It claims to have created a system in dozens of countries to track encryption-related tax laws and regulations. It currently has 30 customers, including Filecoin Foundation, Gitcoin, Gnosis, Hedera Hashgraph, and PleasrDAO.
