Rocket Pool, the ethereum liquidity staking protocol, will undergo an Atlas upgrade on April 13, and 8 ETHs can be staked by nodes (if the requirements of Rocket Pool are met). The features of this Atlas upgrade include improving protocol efficiency, distributing higher rewards for node operators, increasing rETH capacity, and still completely requiring no permission. The most important function of Atlas is the Rocket Pool verification node Minipools LEB8's, currently when node operators wish to create a mini pool they must provide 16 ETH and receive 16 ETH on behalf of the protocol, which will create a 32 ETH on Ethereum Pledge validator, with the introduction of LEB8, the quantity setting of 16 ETH will be reduced to 8 ETH.
