Swedish SEB and Crédit Agricole have launched a blockchain bond platform. Through the platform, issuers in the capital market will be able to issue digital bonds on the blockchain network and be able to raise funds and manage securities through smart contracts, aiming to improve efficiency and achieve real-time data synchronization among participants. The platform and the blockchain technology involved in the platform were developed by the bank in cooperation with IT provider Finaxys, and more rewards will be given to nodes with low energy consumption.
