DeFi insurance protocol Nexus Mutual said its governing body may hire lawyers if policyholders who suffered losses and were paid out in the Euler Finance hack don’t repay their funds, CoinDesk reported. On-chain data shows that Nexus Mutual is awaiting repayments from five customers who filed claims after the Euler attack and received a total of nearly $2.4 million in payouts, about $2 million of which was in cryptocurrency. In addition, Dune data shows that Euler Finance has returned $133 million in assets to 457 users, six of whom are also Nexus Mutual policyholders, and four of these six have returned about $380,000 in crypto currency.
