The digital asset trading platform Bitrue issued a document stating that a vulnerability was found in a hot wallet at 15:18 Beijing time on April 14, and the attacker has stolen about $23 million worth of ETH, QNT, GALA, SHIB, HOT and MATIC. The affected hot wallets accounted for less than 5% of the total funds, and the rest of the wallets remained safe and uncompromised. For additional security checks, Bitrue will suspend all withdrawals and will reopen on April 18, 2023. All identified users affected by this incident will be fully compensated.
