Odaily Planet Daily News Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson talked about the launch of the membership organization Intersect in the AMA on July 29, and more than 200 members have joined the organization in the past few days. He will provide more details on this in the coming days, including moving the code from IOHK and Intersect. He also talked about the latest Cardano workshops and partnerships.
Referring to the ruling in the U.S. SEC v. Ripple case, Hoskinson said that with XRP listed on major cryptocurrency exchanges, it is a huge win for its community. It also lays the legal groundwork for deciding that cryptocurrencies such as Cardano (ADA), Solana (SOL), Polygon (MATIC) are not securities.
He asserted that the ruling would certainly weaken the SEC’s arguments and urged lawmakers to pass encryption regulations in the United States to provide clarity to the industry. Regardless of what the SEC says, ADA is not a security because the project is community-run and open-source. (Coin Gape)
