Odaily Planet Daily News Bitget released a research report on the audience of its documentary function. The data observes the application scope of the documentary function from the dimensions of region and age. The report shows that geographically, Bitget’s documentary trading users are mainly distributed in Western Europe, East Asia, and Southeast Asia. Among them, Western Europe accounted for the highest proportion, accounting for 31% of all documentary trading users, followed by East Asia (26%) and Southeast Asia (19%).
From the perspective of age group, generation Z users are the audience with the highest proportion of copy trading function, and this group (under 25 years old) accounts for 44% of all copy traders on the platform. This is followed by the 25-35 age group, accounting for 32%. Users aged 35-55 accounted for 17%, and users over 55 accounted for 7%.
In addition, in the first half of 2023, more than 109,000 users have obtained profit returns through copying operations, with a total profit of 74 million US dollars. During this period, among the users who used the documentary strategy for futures trading, the proportion of profitable users reached 93%. For spot documentary users, 82% of them achieved profitability. In addition, the research shows that Bitcoin is the most common asset used in contract copy trading at 52%, followed by ETH at 44%.
