Lending platform Compound Finance implements Governance Proposal 117, updating the Chainlink price feed to include a Compound v2 code error. Compound said the code, while audited by 3 auditing attack firms, contained a bug that caused transactions to be reinstated for ETH suppliers and borrowers. Compound stated that the cETH market was temporarily frozen, and a new proposal 119 has been created to restore the previous price feed, which will take 7 days to take effect. Funds are not at risk, and users can still repay debt and add collateral to avoid liquidation. Due to the price difference, the interface temporarily stopped working and will work again later.
