The amount is about half of the $101.5 million lost in April, indicating better security measures by users and developers. However, no persons or funds were recovered in May, compared with $2.2 million in April. Ten BNB Chain ecological projects were attacked and lost more than 37 million U.S. dollars, and the projects on Ethereum were the least attacked, only slightly more than 2 million U.S. dollars. Among the top 10 cases, Fintoch was attacked due to a smart contract vulnerability with the highest loss of $ 31.7 million. Jimbo Protocol on Arbitrum lost $7.5 million due to Rugpull, and Deus Finance on BNB Chain lost $6.2 million in a smart contract bug. There were 12 Rugpull incidents with a total loss of $37 million, 9 exploits with a loss of $8.8 million, 5 flash loan attacks with a loss of $8.9 million, and 2 exit scams with a loss of $177,000.
