Odaily Planet Daily News The second round of funding for the Space Resource and Exploration Grant organized by DoraHacks has been announced on the global geek sports platform DoraHacks.io. Four projects will be funded in this round, namely Outfitting a Mars Habitat (research on topology optimization algorithms and additive manufacturing techniques applicable to Earth and other planets or the moon), WebNova (satellites supporting space software applications), Space Copy (development Multifunctional interstellar manufacturing and testing equipment integrating lunar soil sampling, 3D printing and other technologies) and OrbitAID (developing on-orbit refueling technology for extending the life of satellites, and plans to build a space refueling station).
The Space Resources and Exploration Grant is one of DoraHacks' long-term funding programs, supporting innovative open source technology teams on the path of space exploration.
