Matter Labs released the manifesto "ZK Credo" on GitHub, reaffirming its push for a decentralized network and expressing concerns about the concentration of governance power in the hands of a few. Matter Labs believes that the community should have the ability to migrate to a new network if necessary. Matter Labs says it plans to decentralize the sorter, but it will take some time. The manifesto also outlines eight principles Matter Labs believes are essential, including fundamental decentralization principles such as trustless, security, reliability, censorship resistance, privacy, hyperscalability, accessibility, and sovereignty.
