Metaverse game ad placement company Anzu announced the completion of $48 million in Series B financing, led by Emmis Corporation, with participation from PayPal Ventures, Evolution, Simon Equity Partners, and Bandai Namco Entertainment 021 Fund. The new funds will be used to expand partnerships with more AAA games and premium content providers. Anzu will complete a $20 million financing in March 2022, led by NBCUniversal and HTC. Anzu supports in-game advertising solutions within the metaverse, mobile devices, and consoles, and its 3D ad tracking engine is currently patented.
