The law firm McDermott Will & Emery, which represents Voyager's committee of unsecured creditors, has billed Voyager $5.1 million for work done between March and May, the latest bill making its total compensation, CoinDesk reported. That came to $16.4 million, above the $11.2 million budgeted during the restructuring process. To date, creditors have paid out $8.9 million of this billing compensation. Significant expenditures involving the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery during this period, including $1 million for 970.9 hours of work on schemes and disclosure agreements, which covered discussing sale options with debtors, meeting with potential buyers and reviewing other interested parties objections raised by the author.
